The Traffic Club of New York is an organization of logistics professionals in the maritime, intermodal, rail, motor carrier, port, warehousing and allied distribution fields. It provides someone to be on the "inside" of the logistics industry. Membership is made up of manufacturers, executives from the freight forwarder, steamship, rail, intermodal, consulting, freight brokerage, port, NVOCC and legal professionals who deal with the logistics industry on a daily basis. Members come from throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. The Club has a series of educational and social events throughout the year.

2008 TCNY Dinner and Events

The Traffic Club's 102nd Anniversary and Annual Dinner Meeting was held on February 28, 2008 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. It was a great success. The speakers were amazing!

The Honorable Peter T. King, Congressman from New York's 3rd District was the Keynote Speaker of the evening.

Anthony A. Scioscia, Senior Vice President, Labor Relations - Maersk Inc. was honored as our Transportation Person of the Year.

Brian D. Purdy, of Canadian Pacific Railway, was chosen as the well-deserving recipient of the prestigious Charles H. Ficken Award for his outstanding service to The Traffic Club of New York.

Joseph P. Pirozzi, of CSX Intermodal was the Chairman of the Annual Dinner.
